Pro V1x is a four-piece, multi-component ball featuring a high velocity ZG process dual core helping to deliver extraordinary distance on all shots, it has a thin responsive ionomeric casing layer that enhances speed and controls spin on full shots. While a soft thermoset Urethane Elastomer cover and spherically tiled 328 tetrahedral dimple design delivers improved feel, sound and short game scoring. Although the dimple design is the same as that of it's predecessor the process has been refined, with laser-etching, resulting in greater consistency dimple to dimple providing Pro V1x's most consistent flight ever.
The Pro V1x is a higher compression ball than the standard Pro V1(by 8 - 10 points) and feels firmer. It also flies higher, thanks to it's 328 - dimple pattern, and produces more spin. Pro V1x is aimed at those bigger hitters with a faster swing, so if that's you then the new Titleist Pro V1x Ball is definitely worth a go.
